London Helicopter Rides

A helicopter flight over London is an unforgeable experience. Departing from either Stapleford, Essex (north of the M25) or Redhill, Surrey (south of the M25), you’ll fly over the nation’s capital city, London. Gaze down on familiar sights and attractions as you follow the River Thames. You’ll see all the familiar sights such as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, and much more. Everything below will look miniature and you’ll have the best seat in the house.

Stapleford in Essex is easily accessed from J25 or J27 of the north of the M25. It’s close to the M11 meaning there’s great access from Bedford, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich and beyond. The M1 is a little further around but is the most convenient option for guests living in Luton, Northampton, Milton Keynes and beyond. The M40 is almost at the half way point between Stapleford and Redhill so residents of Oxford, High Wycombe, Banbury and beyond may prefer either departure point.

Redhill in Surrey sits to the south of the M25 and is easily accessed via J8. It’s not too far from Gatwick airport for anyone familiar with the area. It’s location means people living to the south and east of London (areas such as Southampton, Portsmouth, Crawley, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Brighton, Eastbourne, Folkstone, Canterbury, Maidstone, Dartford, Gravesend, etc.) would find this location more convenient. For those travelling along the M4 from South and West Wales, Cardiff, Bristol, Swindon, Reading and Slough, this location is probably more convenient for you.

Whichever location you choose the flight will pretty much follow the same format, only one approaches from the north and the other from the south.

Sightseeing flights also depart from Hornchurch in Essex and Uxbridge in Greater London. These are perfect for sightseeing around Greater London.
